All you have to say is LOVE!
So, how do you tell someone you love them? How about sending a handmade card that expresses your love through words and actions! This is a fun card filled with Hugs and Kisses for that someone special in your life.
The card base is created using Basic Grey followed by a layer of Real Red with the bottom edge decoratively punched using the Pinking Hearts Border punch. I added a second layer with the Basic Black then the Stampin' Up! Love Impressions Designer Series Paper. At the base of the Real Red layer just above the punched section I embellished the card with 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Real Red and then I attached the layered elements to the card base.
For the second step, I stamped the word "LOVE" from the Filled with Love stamp set using Basic Black on Whisper White card stock which I then used a corner punch for the rounded corners. The stamped image was then placed onto a Basic Black Layer which I then adhered to the card overlapping the ribbon and a portion of the punched bottom layer. At the base of the card I attached hearts punched out from the red glimmer paper. Finally, I stamped the "Be My Valentine" Sentiment from the Filled with Love stamp set in the bottom right corner of the card.
This is such a wonderful card for any valentine but especially that special guy in your life.
