Valentine Card

One of the Valentine Traditions that I started with my husband involves me making about a 1/2 dozen or so of Valentine Cards then I give them ALL to my husband for him to pick out for the Valentine Card he gives me.  My husband isn't very romantic nor is he a "wordy" guy but we do have fun with this little tradition that has now been going on for 5 years – 1/2 of the number of years we've been married.  I'm seriously thinking this card is going to be going into that pile although I might keep it as the card I give to him…  Decisions! Decisions!

I actually have NO STAMPING on this card well, except for the inside!  The card base is Real Red cardstock with the card front featuring Whisper White cardstock layered on Basic Black and attached to the card base.  Inside the card, I did add Whisper White with the stamped sentiment "Be Mine" from the You Plus Me Stamp Set.  

The card front features the "I {heart} U" cutout from the Label Card Thinlits with 6 of them in a row alternating between Real Red and a pattern from the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack.  Next, I cut out the ampersand and arrow from teh Label Card Thinlits using Basic Black and layered them over the "I {heart} U."  For the finishing touch, I added the Rhinestone Jewel on one of the hearts.
