Can You Case It
Color Challenge CYCI#86
Oh, we have a great sketch for you today. The sketch from Can You Case It? has so much potential for creativity. When I looked at the sketch the first time I wasn't certain exactly what I was going to do and initially thought of using Designer Series Paper with a diagonal stripe but as I started digging through my stack of Designer Series Paper I came across the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper and was instantly inspired by the bikes.
I kept to a simple plan of highlighting the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper along with the Crazy About You Bundle of products consisting of the Crazy About You Stamp Set and Hello You Thinlits. The "white" strip on the sketch below is replaced by the Tangerine Tango "hello" from the Hello You Thinlits then I added the Pacific Point "Just Sayin'" Banner. To attach the "hello" and "Just Sayin'" banner I used an AWESOME NEW product… The Fine-Tip Glue Pen is AMAZING! Everyone needs to order at least 2 of these bottles! I love how the needle in the cap helps keep the bottle from getting blocked with dried glue and let me just say this glue has amazing hold so you don't need a lot of it. The card front was then added to a layer of Daffodil Delight cardstock and attached to the Thick Whisper White cardstock base. As a finishing touch I added the Brights Designer Button tied with a small Linen Thread bow.
