Geometric Shapes – Hexagon Hives Thinlit

I've patiently been waiting to use the Hexagon Hive Thinlit for just the right card using a technique where you actually sponge the image then trace an outline with a Stampin' Marker. This card was lots of fun to make especially as I used the Hexagon Hive thinlit in a non-traditional method. The Honeycomb Hello stamp set provided the perfect touch for adding the sentiment along with a little whimsy with the bumble bee buzzing around the flower.

So, here are a few things to keep in mind…

Consider stretching your creativity by using a tool in new and creative ways such as what I did with the Hexagon Hive Thinlit.
Feel free to mix styles – Here I mixed "Vintage" with "Whimsical" for a fun card.

Sponge Daubers are great for keeping your hands clean and now Stampin' Up! sells them in smaller packs of 5! Organizational tip – Label each individual Sponge Dauber so you know what color you used.
