RemARKable Stampers Blog Tour

Going Places

Starting with this RemARKable Blog Tour, we are going to be featuring the various BUNDLES found in the Stampin' Up! Catalog.  I'm sharing one of the NEW Project Life Bundles.  The Project Life Bundle includes a lot of awesomeness!  In this kit, you get the Card, the Accessories and matching Stamp Set for an additional 15% off.  So, come check it out.

My husband and I recently joined my son's Pre-School class for a field trip to a local Nursery for some Strawberry Picking…  We were definitely going places with all those 3, 4 and 5 year olds!  The field trip included a tour of the nursery ending with a fun time picking strawberries.  I wish I could say my son managed to eat more of his share of strawberries verses what we picked but he was really tired after the tour walking and going places around the Nursery.    It was a fun trip and it is awesome seeing all these little ones with their friends knowing that they will be growing up and going places as some move on to new schools next year.

I'm already nostalgic about these Project Life pages.  By the time your read this blog post, my son will have graduated from Pre-School.  Caleb has an IEP and has been attending a local preschool provided through the county as they provide Physical Therapy, Occupational and Speech Therapy.  When he started at the age of 3, he could barely walk (he had only been walking for about 5 months and still needed assistance standing up).  You see, Caleb has Hypotonia and other developmental delays.  Kids with Hypotonia often don't start walking until they are 2 years old or older.  He has come so far and it is exciting to see him going places as he gains confidence.

Now, here for your viewing enjoyment are my Project Life pages featuring the Moments Like These Card Collection, Accessory Pack and Stamp Set Bundle.

Page #1 – This is the first page of Caleb's Field Trip.  The Field Trip banner features the Back to Basics Alphabet Stamp Set.  The hardest part is writing… I really don't like my own handwritting!

Page #2 – I just added a few hand stamped embellishments.  The stamp set I used is the Project Life Moments Like These.  I don't have the coordinating Thinlits yet and can't wait to get them.  They will be perfect for the small accents I would like to add.

Page #3 – I am leaving this page unembellished… Well, for the time being.  I might go back and add a few small accents but I haven't decided.

Page #4 – I have to admit that I am struggling some with Project Life.  I actually find traditional pages to be easier but maybe because I'm really picky.  In time I know my project life pages will be what I completely want them to be as it is a learning process. On that note… as I was finishing my pages, Caleb joined me and was having so much fun looking through the pictures.  I really need to make certain I add name tags or something that clearly states who everyone is in the photos.

I invite you to pin any of my creations to Pinterest and to share your thoughts or questions by leaving me a comment.  I love hearing from all my readers!
