Happy Scenes Christmas

 Card Sketch #165

This weekend we finally had our sons 6th Birthday Celebration and Party.  We had about 12 kids and parents in our home.  While we were decorating for the party, our son asked if we could put up the Christmas Tree as part of the Paw Patrol decorations.  So, it seems I’ve passed my love of Christmas onto my son.  We were able to hold off on putting up the tree but I have a feeling he’ll be asking for the tree while Grandma and Grandpa are visiting in a couple of weeks.  I believe we will have our Christmas Tree up before Halloween!I may complain about Christmas showing up in stores early but as a crafter we need our Christmas supplies early so we can start preparing!  With that in mind, don’t forget you need to start thinking about making your Christmas Cards…  Get them done now so you can truly enjoy the Holidays!  I know that for this year we are going to start our Christmas Celebration before Halloween because a little boy wants the Christmas Tree put up with the lights.  (Really, all he wants are the Christmas Lights!).

The embellishments on the card start with a 3/4″ inch circle punched out of the Silver Glimmer Paper.  I added a Night of Navy banner.  The sentiment features the “Peace” from the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies.  Confession time…  I meant to add some Silver Thread behind the Night of Navy Banner but forgot to attach it so ended up leaving it off the card but I do think it would really be the perfect touch of elegance to the card.  In the upper right corner, I finished the card off with a snowflake from the Snowflake Elements.
