Another week and a new challenge with the Stampin' Queen's Sketch Challenge has arrived. This week I wanted to play with the Stampin' Up! fabrics. The Summer Smooches fabric is new fabric that will be available on June 1, 2012 when the 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Catalog is available. SO, for this week, I introduce you to my design team card…
Stampin' Queen's Sketch Challenge #39
Bright Blossoms with Summer Smooches
This card originally started with a different vision but as I was playing with the fabric, I realized my "vision" just didn't work. I ended up tearing strips of the Summer Smooches fabric and adhering them to the Tempting Turquoise Card Stock which is layered on Real Red Card stock. I used the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set which will be available on June first to stamp the blossom images. I then used the 1 3/4 circle punch to punch out the vase image with the sentiment and the 1" square punch to punch out the blossoms which are layered on Real Red punched using the 1 1/4" square punch.
The sentiment features the Petite Pairs Stamp Set. I love this stamp set for the size of the sentiments which work great for "tight" spaces. This is a fun, bright card which would hopefully cheer anyone up. Enjoy!
