Tic Tac Toe Challenge #186 featuring the Grateful Bunch Stamp Set

I have a challenge for you! Can you figure out which path I took to complete my Tic Tac Toe? Lace is lovely, flowers are in full bloom and we are celebrating lots of Birthdays! The Grateful Bunch Stamp Set was the perfect starting point for this Tic Tac Toe Challenge paired with the Hardwood Background stamp. Flowers and Lace provide for an elegant, feminine Birthday card.

The background is stamped using the Hardwood Background Stamp with Sahara Sand Classic Ink. I stamped the lace trim from the Grateful Bunch Stamp set using Tip Top Taupe classic ink. Then the leaves were stamped using Old Olive classic ink. Now the fun starts as I add the elements building upon the base of the stamped card front.

From the Grateful Bunch Stamp Set, I used Watermelon Wonder Classic Ink to stamp the large flower along with the three flowers twice that coordinate with the Blossom Bunch Punch. I fussy cut the large flower and punched out all the other flowers. The fun part was crumpling up the flowers because I wanted a “softer” feel and not so perfect looking flowers. I placed all the larger flowers along one stem as a cluster. The happy birthday banner is stamped with Watermelon Wonder classic ink and attached to the card just above the stamped lace image. A Very Vintage Designer Button was the perfect addition tied with a piece of Linen Thread, Watermelon Wonder 1″ Dotted Lace Trim, and Venetian Crochet Trim. Along the banner, I added one small flower to balance out the cluster of flowers I had already added. The finishing touch was adding the rhinestones to the center of each flower.
