I'm so excited to share this wonderful, vintage thank you card today that I created for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch #54.  The card features the Backyard Basics Stamp Set along with the Papaya Collage Stamp Set.  I have to say that I just LOVE the framelits that coordinate with the Backyard Basics Stamp Set.  With that, I introduce you to this weeks…

Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch #52

Vintage Backyard Basics

This is a fun card that starts with a base of Very Vanilla Cardstock layered with Crisp Cataloupe card stock embossed using the NEW Pretty Print Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the NEW 2013 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog (pg. 24).  I then stamped the "frame" background image from the Papaya Collage stamp set on Very Vanilla cardstock and tore along the edges which I curled then sponged using the Brown Sugar In Color along with the Crisp Cataloupe In Color.  The sponging really adds depth with a distressed vintage feel.  

Next, I created a banner using Pear Pizzazz cardstock which I wrinkled and layered above the torn out frame.  I stamped the floral images from the Backyard Basics stamp set then cut them out using the coordinating framelits.  One of the flowers is stamped with Crisp Cantaloupe and the other flower is stamped with Calypso Coral.  Next, I stamped the "thank you" sentiment from the Lots of Thanks stamp set which I then punched out using the 1 1/4" circle punch and layered on a scallop circle which was crumpled for a distressed appearance. You'll also note that I layered Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon just underneath the stamped sentiment.  

I really DO love the look and feel of this card!
