Peaceful Pines Bundle Christmas Card
Holiday Bundles
Can you believe we are already mid-way into December and in 15 days Christmas will be here! I'm a last minute kind of gal and do my best work under pressure so that means I'm just starting to really get started on my Christmas Cards for the season. Today's card features one of the cards I'm making for my Christmas Cards featuring the Peaceful Pines Bundle and as I finish a handful I'm addressing the envelopes and getting them sent out. One confession, I get stir crazy easily when I make a LOT of one design so have a tendency to do a couple of designs but they are all similar. I usually change the layout up a bit and maybe an element or two changes.
Project #1 – Peaceful Pines Bundle Pear Pizzazz and Gold Christmas Card
So, I'm glad you are joining me today as I share one of my favorite Christmas Cards. This is a card that I'm sending to friends and clients because it is relatively quick to mass produce and doesn't use a lot of colors of fancy techniques. I have used the "splat" technique where you "splat" some glue on the front of the card then sprinkle glitter over the card creating a beautiful, glittery background. Honestly, I don't know the name of the Technique so just made my own name! I kind of like calling it the "Splat" Technique.
I started with the Thick Whisper White for the card base then added a card front base using the diagonal striped Pear Pizzazz design from the Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper. The top layer of the card front is Whisper White with the Gold Splat in the background. I used the diagonal stamp from Gorgeous Grunge with Crumb Cake in the top right corner then added the Winter Wonderland Designer Washi Tape along with a Gold Button tied with a Linen Thread bow. This element was inspired by another paper crafter friend, Tenia Williams. I just LOVE how she uses small amounts of Washi Tape on her cards. She uses Washi Tape EFFORTLESSLY and has inspired me to use my Washi Tape.
The main element of my Christmas Card is the beautiful Pine Tree from the Peaceful Pines Bundle which features the Peaceful Pines Stamp Set and Perfect Pines Framelits. There is STILL a little time left if you would like to make cards using this bundle but you have to act FAST! One of my favorite features is the ability to stamp tons of pine trees then cut them out quickly with the Perfect Pines Framelit. I then attached some Gold Metalic Thread behind the pine tree and attached it to the card front.
Now, don't you just want to hurry up and get the awesome Peaceful Pines Bundle today! I can honestly see this bundle being used year round because additional images within the Stamp Set are neutral without a Christmas Theme. This really is a great bundle to own.
I invite you to pin any of my creations to Pinterest and to share your thoughts or questions by leaving me a comment. I love hearing from all my readers!
