Card Sketch #177 – Rose Garden Valentine
Have you heard of Periscope? It is THE newest Social Media CRAZE and I love it! On Saturday, I taught a short class on Periscope at the NC Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Quarterly Meeting. The meeing really was fun with lots of amazing samples, Make & Takes, new techniques and business classes. I can't wait to play with the new techniques that I learned. Back to Periscope… yesterday I did a quick 'scope sharing a sneak peek of my Rose Garden Valentine card based on this weeks Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch. I would LOVE to have you follow me on Periscope and Twitter!

Now… Onto the actual card. I LOVE the Rose Garden Thinlets. They are amazing and so cool. Have you seen anything so delicate? The rose is gorgeous. I started with the large rose from the Rose Gardent Thinlits Dies using Real Red cardstock. I added a large Basic Black Banner layered with a second smaller banner stamped using Real Red Classic Ink with the Love You from the Bloomin' Love Stamp Set. The Petite Petal punch created the perfect flower with a Silver Metalic Button added and tied with a bow using the Basic Black Baker's Twine. Then I used the little flower from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack finished with a Rhinestone.
The finishing touches was the addition of three additional Rhinestone jewels then I layered the card front onto a piece of Basic Black card stock. The card front was attached to a Real Red card base. This card is finished on the inside with another piece of whisper white stamped with Happy Valentine in Real Red. I love the elegance of this Rose Garden Valentine card.
