Another week and it's time for a new Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch! This weeks card sketch is a fairly basic card sketch with a little embellishment. The card I created is a beautiful, Endless Wishes Christmas Card. We invite you to come play along as this challenge starts today and ends on November 4th.
Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch 116
Endless Wishes Christmas
This card features the Endless Wishes Stamp Set along with elements of the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies. I've also pulled out some of my favorite colors with the Lost Lagoon and Pool Party along with using Naturals White. For the card base, I started with Pool Party Cardstock then layered with Naturals White Cardstock with a stamped background using Lost Lagoon Classic Ink with the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set. On the focal layer, I stamped the "Very Merry Christmas" on the Naturals White Cardstock with a layer of Lost Lagoon Cardstock. I highlighted the stamped image with the "Film Frame" from the On Film Framelits.
On the bottom right corner of the stamped "Very Merry Christmas" I added several elements as the finishing touches to the card. First, I added two banners from the Hearts A Flutter Framelits then I added snowflakes from the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies layered above the banners. For the final touch I added the "Joy" from the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies.
SunnyGirlScraps Tips & Tricks:
- A great way to create depth is to use two coordinating colors such as what I did with the Lost Lagoon and Pool Party on this card!
- Layers! Layer elements to create interest and to highlight the focal point.
- Angles – use angles to add additional interest.
The colors are subtle and beautiful for a Christmas Card. So, I hope you enjoy and PIN my card. Don't forget to visit the Paper Craft Crew Blog to check out the creations from the other Design Team members!
