Stampin' Queen's Sketch Challenge #3 meets I Dig You!

Welcome to the next weekly episode of the Stampin' Queen's Sketch Challenge blog with another fun sketch just for you. This is SQSC3! I love the I Dig You stamp set and the Happy Dirtday play on Happy Birthday. The I Dig You stamp set is just a great set for a little boy's birthday but also can be used for a little girl especially if she is a tomboy! The sketch for this week just screamed out to me that I needed to use the 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Daffodil Delight along with keeping my card design fun and light hearted and nothing says light hearted like Happy Dirtday! The base of this card is 6×6 using Real Red 12×12 Textured Card stock cut to 6×12 and folded in half. The first layer includes Daffodil Delight Card stock with a Tempting Turquoise layer using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch followed by the designer paper star pattern from the Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper. Next, I used a 2" strip of Whisper White layered with Pumpkin Pie with the Daffodil Delight 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. I then used Old Olive Card stock layered with a Tempting Turquoise Card stock with the Dump Truck stamped image on Whisper White.
The Happy Dirtday sentiment is stamped on Whisper White and punch out using the Modern Label Punch and layered with Tempting Turquoise using the matching image found on the Magnetic Movers & Shapers die for the Big Shot. I then added to Pumpkin Pie brads for the finishing touch. Overall, this is a fun, bright card!
