Festive Flurry
(Item #w:131778; c:131781)
Christmas is my absolute FAVORITE Holiday and I look forward to celebrating this fun holiday with family. Since I'm originally from Minnesota, I also love fresh snowfall especially around Christmas. Snow and Christmas just go together so I had fun making two fun projects using the Festive Flurry Stamp Set.
Project #1 – Prince of Peace Fesitve Flurry Card
The base for the Festive Flurry Card starts with Whisper White cardstock layered with Real Red and Bermuda Bay cardstock. The top layer is Whisper White card stock stamped with an image from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set in Real Red with Silver 1/8" Ribbon. The bow is Silver 1/8" and Bermuda Bay 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon. The sentiment is stamped using the Prince of Peace single stamp using the Real Red classic ink with a Bermuda Bay border which is cut out using the Deco Labels Framelits Die with a little piece of Tea Lace Paper Doilies tucked behind. I balanced the card with a snowflake stamped using the Festive Flurry stamp set and cut out using the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies. The finishing touch was adding some "bling" using the Rhinestone Jewels which add just the right touch almost like icicles.

Project #2 – Festive Flurry Merry Frame
The base for this fun 3D Framed Art starts with Whisper White with a layer of Bermuda Bay and another layer of Whisper White all placed within a 5×7 frame. Stamped images on the top layer of Whisper White cardstock are the Off the Grid stamp in Bermuda Bay and a stamp image from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set in the Real Red. Next, I stamped the Festive Flurry snowflakes using the Bermuda Bay and cut them out with the Festive Flurry Framelits Die which I also used to cut out the Silver Glitter snowflakes. At the center of each snowflake is a Candy Dot Brad in Bermuda Bay. Next, I used the Expressions Thinlit "Merry" die to create the main focal point of the framed piece. The "merry" is actually cut out of Silver with a 2nd "merry" cut out from the Real Red cardstock layered onto the silver Foil Sheets.
