Helping Me Grow
Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch #191
Have you heard? The Stampin‘ Up! 2015-2016 Retired Product List has been released! Items are discounted and available NOW! You don’t want to miss out. If there is a bundled product in the Occasions Catalog that you LOVE then BUY it now and get the 15% discount because the discount decreases with the new catalog or goes away completely especially with any product that has been previously bundled! Today’s card actually features the Sunburst Thinlit which is part of the Sunburst Sayings Bundle.
The card features a 5×5 card base with a Daffodil Delight Designer Series Stack card front base layered with Whisper White cardstock. The Sunburst Thinlit was used to cut out the focal circular design of this weeks sketch to create a beautiful sun like feature on this weeks card. I use the lilac from the Helping Me Grow stamp set stamped with Basic Black Archival Ink then lightly water colored using the Aqua Painter with Wisteria Wonder and Wild Wasabi. The banner is also stamped with Wisteria Wonder then attached at an angle using the Bow Paper Clips Embellishments. Following with the sketch, I also added a banner behind the sentiment using Vellum.
Here is this weeks Card Sketch with the Paper Craft Crew. If you are having a mental creative block, card sketches are a great way to kickstart your creative juices. Why not stop over at the Paper Craft Crew, create a card inspired by this weeks Card Sketch and post to the blog!
