Things that Fly with SUOC170

I’ve been home for a week now and as things would have it… I was hit hard with a Sinus infection mid-week of last week only a few days in to being at home.  So, on that note… I’m keeping this blog post short and sweet.  I’m exhausted and have been struggling to even craft. I was so excited to get home, be with my family and back in the craft room only to be knocked down by this sinus crud.  My poor husband has been amazing but he is ready for everyone to be healthy.

I did manage to get a card created for the Things that Fly challenge over at SUO Challenges for SUOC170 featuring the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set.  I love this stamp set with the coordinating dies.  I’ve also used the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper. I’ve highlighted one flower by coloring it with the Real Red Watercolor Pencil along with the surrounding leaves colored with the Old Olive Watercolor Pencil. Then I added a Detailed Dragonfly layered with Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise and Vellum Cardstock. The sentiment is stamped with Real Red. Accents added are the Enamel Shapes.
