Well, the first challenge at the Stampin' Queen's Sketch Challenge blog has come to an end and now we are onto the Stampin' Queen's Sketch Challenge 2!  This sketch was a little bit more difficult for me and I really wanted to use the Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Paper.  Well, once I started designing, colors went a little wacky but I have to say that I really like the final outcome.

So, here is the:

Stampin' Queen's Sketch Challenge 2

The base of this card starts with Rich Razzleberry textured 12×12 card stock cut to 6×12 and folded into a 6×6 card.  The second layer is Daffodil Delight card stock.  I then took a sheet of Designer Series Paper from the Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Paper to create another layer which includes a border created using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border in Rich Razzleberry. 

Elements for the remainder of the card were initially created individually then layered onto the card allowing me to rearrange the elements until I was satisfied with the overall layout.  First, I started with the Poppy Parade 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon tied with a bow that I purposely angled to add to the composition.  Second, I created a tag using Whisper White card stock layered with Daffodil Delight card stock.  I stamped on the tag using the "floral" image from the My Friend stamp set.  The flower is created using one of my absolute favorite dies called the Fun Flower Bigz L Die for the Big Shot.  I used the Pocketful of Posies for the Fun Flower which is layered and sponged on the tips to help create dimension.  Finally, I created the butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit die for the Big Shot using Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight card stock.
