I love non-traditioal Christmas Cards especially when they feature ANY shade of blue. This week for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch #57, I used the Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper which has several beautiful blues such as Coastal Cabana, Island Indigo and Pool Party. SO, I hope you enjoy my card creation for the Paper Craft Crew and we would LOVE to have you play along…

Card Sketch #57 – Winter Frost
Oh, I really do love how this card turned out. The base of the card is Whisper White layered with Smoky Slate Card Stock which is one of my NEW favorite colors! The Smoky Slate background is embossed using the Stripes Embossing Folder. For the angled layer, I started with the Whisper White Card Stock and layered it with the Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. I just LOVE the colors of this designer series paper. I also added the Coastal Cabana 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim layered with Bermuda Bay 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon tied with a bow as the finishing touch.
The stamped background image stamped with Bermuda Bay Classic Ink is from the Chalk Talk Stamp Set and cut out using the matching Chalk Talk Framelits. Next, I stamped the Holly Jolly using Coastal Cabana Classic Ink from the Tags 4 You stamp set and punched it out using the matching Label Bracket Punch. The flags feature more of the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper and were made using the 1" Square Punch. I also added some "eye" candy by adding the Candy Dots using both the Neutrals and Brights collection featuring the Candy Dots in the Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate.
