Yesterday, Stampin’ Up! announced a Color Renovation. You may ask… What is a Color Renovation? Well, in this case, it means that 31 colors will be retired, some in-colors will return as core colors and the current color families will be revamped into four color collections with Stampin’ Up! ditching the term “color families.”
Now, don’t get into a panic yet… These changes do not go into effect until July 1, 2010 with the release of the new 2010-2011 Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog. We all enjoy renovating our homes by updating the look using color along with new accessories. This change isn’t all that different. There will fun, new colors and I’m certain we will see some new accessories that we will all enjoy. All of us will sadly say a fond farewell to some of our favorites but with this change I’m certain we will have some new favorites.
Check it out… (OK… I admit, I’m a closet fan of Pixie Pink and Summer Sun!)
