SUOC 53: 3D Bags and Box Challenge
From My Heart 3D Bag
Check out this cute From My Heart 3D Bag I created! It was a bit of a challenge since I'm still on "vacation" visiting my family in Minnesota for another couple of weeks. Before I left I forgot to check to see what challenges I needed to be prepared for. So, when I looked and discovered this was a 3D challenge I really didn't think I could pull it off with the few Stampin' Up! items I had brought with me on vacation! Because, you know, I just can't leave it completely behind especially for a full month.
So, I started to brainstorm… Doing a box was definitely a no go as I didn't have the supplies or means to make my own box. Then, I thought about one of my very first projects. It was a decorated paper lunch sack. The first step I took was buying the much needed paper lunch sacks which are very inexpensive. The completed bag turned out really cute and I love the overall look and feel. I hope you enjoy it just as much.
A fun project recreating a simple "lunch sack" into a cute little gift bag.The Gift Bag features the From My Heart Stamp Set along with the Apothecary Accents Framelits. The background stamped image is from the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set. The flowers are created with the blossom punch and the new 1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch. I also used the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to add an accent to the "frame" created to feature the My Heart Stamp Set.
