SUOC 52 – Photo Op Scrapbook Page
For the Stampin' Up! Only Challenge – SUOC 52 – our challenge was to "Feature a Photo" so for me that meant doing a scrapbook page. I opted to do a traditional scrapbook page.
The base of the scrapbook page is Whisper White spritzed using the Stampin' Up! color spritzer. I spritzed the Whisper White with Night of Navy and Real Red using the Stampin' Write Markers. Next, I used some of the Summer Smooches designer series paper because the colors are fun and bright. I did two strips along the bottom edge of the photo then I created 3 tags for the upper left corner of the page. The photo is layered with Whisper White then Night of Navy card stock to help it "POP" off the scrapbook page. These colors where chosen because they accent the photo. I stamped the "Moments" saying from the Baby Prints stamp set. Finally, I added some journaling under the photo using the Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker. I hate my handwriting but sometimes you just have to "write" with your own penmanship.

What a delightful photo and I love how you've made it into such a beautiful scrap page. I'm planning a scrapbook to work on this fall, and I need wonderful ideas like this to get me started!
Aww, love the photo of grandpa and his little buddy. What a great memory! I like the way you picked up the colors from the photo in the banners, too.
