Here is the second card I brought to the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN. This card really evokes a feeling of springtime and a peaceful afternoon. I can imagine a warm day and sitting near the ocean listening as the waves crashed on the beach along with the a light ocean breeze. There would also be a hint of the ocean hovering in the air! Ahhhh, the Peace Within!
The base of the card is Peach Parfait followed by two layers with the first layer being Pear Pizzazz then Daffodil Delight. The Daffodil Delight is dry embossed using the Big Shot and the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. The circles were made using the Circle Scissor Plus with the border circle cut at 3 3/4 " out of the Peach Parfait card stock and the Very Vanilla circle is cut at 3 1/2" then stamped with the Adirondack chair from the Peace Within stamp set. The image was colored using the Blender Pens. I used the 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Daffodil Delight as an accent with a Designer Button tied on with a piece of Linen Thread. The final touch was to use the Jewelry Tag punch to punch out 3 tags from Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait card stock..
