Snowman Soup Pocket
Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge 221
I’m burning the candle from both ends as I work on getting some more items ready for my last Craft Fair of the year. The Snowman Soup is so adorable and I just HAD to make some. There are so many ideas on Pinterest and elsewhere on the internet but finally I decided to make a folded pocket. The Snowman Soup Pocket is cute.
To create the project, I used a 4-1/4″ x 11″ sheet of cardstock but then ended up trimming it down to 4-1/4″ x 9-3/4.” Along the sides, I used Washi Tape to help hold the pocket together but then had to add twine to really help his stay as the Washi Tape was coming loose as it is repositionable. On the front and back panel, I used Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper because I liked the peppermints which match the Candy Cane. The 2″ x 8″ Food Safe Cellophane Bags are perfect for the mini marshmallows! I used a funnel to pour the marshmallows in then tied the bag off with a piece of the Candy Cane Lane Baker’s Twine.
Of course, Snowman Soup NEEDS to have a snowman on the packaging! The Snow Place Stamp Set and coordinating Snow Friends Framelits work great for this type of project. I stamped the little snowman. Every snowman needs a cute hat so I added the Santa Hat along with twigs for arms. The Snowman Soup tag was printed off my computer since I’m under a time crunch.
