Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch 14
Come to Bethlehem Christmas Card
I love this sketch for the Grand Opening of the Paper Craft Crew Sketch Blog! My goal was to create an elegant card using this weeks sketch. Since this is the Grand Opening week for the Paper Craft Crew the card had to be special and "sparkle!"
One of my favorite Christmas Stamp Sets is the Come To Bethlehem Stamp Set. I really felt the new Illuminate Stamp Pad would be perfect with this stamp set stamped on a background of Midnight Muse! I love how the shimmer sets apart the image and you get such a beautiful yet subtle look. The base of the card is Very Vanilla which I embossed using the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder. The Midnight Muse with the stamped image is cut out using the Labels Collection Framelits. The tag is Very Vanilla stamped with the Merry Christmas using the Midnight Muse. I love the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons and just loved the "crystal" effect reminding me of "ice." The banner is created using the Petite Pennant Builders Punch with the JOY stamped using the Notable Alphabet Stamp Set. The ribbon is the Very Vanilla 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon.

Pretty, pretty card Pam! Haven't purchased the illuminate pad yet… love what you've done with it. Come to Bethlehem is one of my most favorite stamp sets from the current caddy although I don't use it enough, LOL. Thanks for all you've done for the design team and for organizing this little tour!

Pam, that is currently my favourite Christmas set from the Annual catalogue. Looks fantastic on the blue. I'm loving the sketch this week and hope to be able to play along again. I've been following the Paper Craft Crew team and joining in the challenges for a few weeks now. Best wishes, Carolyn
