Today I’m sharing the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit titled “May Good Things Grow” with an alternative card project. The March 2018 have a strong vintage feel to it. I’ll confess that I really struggled with this kit. I had to keep looking at it and with the crazy week I’ve had so far, I just kept putting off creating anything. So, today I’m only sharing a card. Actually, I can’t even compete with the 3D project that Andrea Tracy-Tucker created so I may have lacked some motivation to try to create a 3D project.

A Paper Pumpkin Thing

May Good Things Grow

Welcome to A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop featuring the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin with Alternative Projects. I've created a simple card that still has a vintage feel to it. Most of the materials are from the kit except for the card base and card front. #paperpumpkin #alternativepaperpumpkin

I’m really tired as I type this up so you are going to get the short, sweet and sassy version of this month’s Paper Pumpkin Alternative project. The Card base is Thick Very Vanilla. I layered Very Vanilla over Sugar Plum for the card front.

The background Lemon Lime Twist Layer is a deconstructed envelope included with the kit then I layered the floral card piece from the kit on the stripped piece. Next, I used the Tag included with the kit and stamped one of the sentiments with Early Esspresso. Layered behind the tag, I added Gold Metallic thread. The flower and leaves are also included in the kit.

Oh, the colored pearls are totally awesome in this kit. The card definitely needed the pearls.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop especially Andrea’s cool 3D project that is going to blow your mind… It is TOTALLY awesome!
