Mingle All The Way with this Years Winter Holidays

I'm so excited to be sharing some fun projects featuring product from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. There are two projects that I'll be sharing with you today as I feature a card and a coordinating gift box with a tag. The card I created features the All is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper along with the Mingle All The Way Stamp Set. The coordinating Gift Box and Tag also feature the All Is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper and Mingle All The Way Stamp Set.

Project #1 – Mingle All The Way Card

This Mingle All The Way card continues my current crafting theme of using Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon and Basic Gray along with the All Is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper. I just LOVE Christmas Cards that have silver and blue on them. When I look at this card, I think about the holidays and the cool days of Winter.

The card base on this card is Soft Sky layered with Basic Gray and Whisper White. On the Whisper White layer, I stamped a background using Gorgeous Grunge and Lost Lagoon Classic Ink. Then I created a layered accent using the All Is Calm Specialty DSP featuring the Silver Foil design with a layer of Soft Sky and a Tea Doily layered behind. The Mingle All the Way is stamped with the Lost Lagoon Classic Ink and punched out using the 2" Circle punch then the layer is Lost Lagoon Cardstock cut out with the Circle Framelits then attached to the card front overlapping the Stamped background and Tea Doily. Next, I added a little Lost Lagoon banner in the upper righthand corner with a Soft Sky star attached. In the bottom lefthand corner, I added three stars as a counter-balance to the star placed on the Banner. The final touch was adding the Silver Sequins which I randomly placed on the card front keeping in mind that I wanted to "connect" the Banner with the elements in the bottom lefthand corner.

I just LOVE how this card came together with the elements of Silver, Basic Gray and the two shades of BLUE! A totally "cool" card perfect for the Winter Holidays!

Project #2 – All Is Calm Box & Tag

I just love this second project that I'm sharing today featuring the All is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Mingle All The Way Stamp Set. Confession time… I'm totally in love with the All Is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper (as if you couldn't guess that already)! For the Box, I used the Box Punch Board and created a 4" x 4" x 2 1/2" box. The Box Punch Board makes it SO easy to create AWESOME and Adhesive FREE Boxes!

On the tag, I've selected Lost Lagoon and Soft Sky as the primary colors with a touch of Silver from the Rhinestones. The tag base is Lost Lagoon and to create the tag, I used the Scallop Tag Punch then layered a Tea Doily on the front of the tag. The next layer features the Deco Label which is cut from Soft Sky then the Mingle All the Way stamped image punched out with the 2" Circle Punch is layered onto the Deco Label. To complete the Tag, I added two snowflakes. The Snowflakes are Whisper White and Lost Lagoon which were created using the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies. The Whisper White Snowflake was placed under the Deco Label and the smaller snowflake is placed on top of the Deco Label. The rhinestones were placed last to add that touch of sparkle.
