I Dig You Stamp Set

I'm having a wonderful time at the 2011 Stampin' Up! Convention and getting some awesome swaps!  I can't wait to share some of my favorite swaps with you over the coming weeks but today I wanted to share a very special card with you!  This is the card that I used for the Stampin' Up! Only Challenges blog as my Design Team member submission.  I really love this new stamp set!  It is so perfect for a little boy card and this card is also the prototype for my son's 2nd birthday party invitation.  I'm getting so excited planning his 2nd birthday and it isn't until the end of September.

This card features the I Dig You stamp set and is a two-stamp set that is absolutely wonderful for creating cut boy themed cards.  I took the dump truck and colored it with markers then stamped it on Whisper White then took the "presents" and stamped that in the bed of the dump truck.  The card base is Pacific Point with Whisper White embossed with the new Stripes Impressions Embossing Folders and Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper then wrapped with the Daffodil Delight striped 1 1/2" Grosgrain ribbon.  I then used the Jewelry Tag punch with the Hemp Twine tied to the Grosgrain Ribbon with the I Dig You stamped image layered on Real Red placed over the Daffodil Delight Striped Grosgrain Ribbon.  The final touch is the "Happy Dirtday" punched out with the Modern Label Punch and the Punch WIndows Magnetic Movers & Shapers Big Shot Die.
