Designer Series Paper Galore
I’m so excited to be sharing some fun projects. Stampin’ Up! offers so many amazing products and one of those products would be the Designer Series Paper. My favorite features is how the Designer Series Paper coordinates with stamp sets, dies and amazing colors. It is awesome how Stampin’ Up! coordinates products which makes YOUR life (and mine) so much easier when we are crafting.
For this blog tour, I decided to focus on the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper which is one of the Designer Series Paper products you can currently purchase with the October Buy 3, Get 1 Free offer from Stampin’ Up! Yes, you can get a free package of Designer Series Paper but time is running out.
Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper
Today, I actually have 3 cards and party favor packaging for you featuring the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper. This paper is gorgeous and the coordinating stamp set is also very elegant. Each pack of Designer Series Paper features 12 sheets of 12×12 decorated paper perfect for card making, scrapbook pages, gift packaging and 3D Home Decor.
Elegant Floral Boutique Cards
Each card features 3 different patterns from the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper. I love how each card is unique and beautiful. As I was creating the cards, my goal was also to use ONLY the coordinating Floral Phrases stamp set. Enjoy, and I hope you are inspired!
Card #1 – Clean and Elegant! I used a small strip of the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper matted on one edge with Night of Navy Cardstock. In the bottom right corner, I stamped the large floral design from the Floral Phrases with the Night of Navy Classic Ink. Next, the sentiment is stamped on a strip of Whisper White then I used the Banner Triple Punch to create the banner. Behind the banner, is Silver Metallic Thread wrapped several times around my fingers and attached to the banner. Clean, simple and elegant! Perfect for a wedding card or any message of congratulations.
Card #2 – Wedding Wishes! The Wedding Wishes is stamped on Whisper White then I used the Layering Circle Framelits to cut out the sentiment and layered it over Night of Navy scallop circle also die cut using the Laying Circle Framelits. The Flourish Thinlits also coordinate beautifully with the Elegant Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper. I used a fairly classic layout for this card and I love the way it turned out. The ribbon is Whisper White Organza Ribbon and I also added Rhinestone Jewels.
Card #3 – Detailed Floral! The Detailed Floral Thinlits are fabulous with a gorgeous intricate floral design. I love the elegance on the card front with the Night of Navy against the contrast of Whisper White. The Elegant Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper anchors this card accented with the Whisper White Organza Ribbon. I stamped the sentiment from the Floral Phrases with the Night of Navy then cut it out with the Tags & Labels Framelits. The second layer is Night of Navy. Again, Rhinestone Jewels add the finishing touch.
Floral Boutique Wedding Favor
Do you need a quick, easy Party Favor or Wedding Favor?
One of my favorite products for quick packaging are the 3×6 Gusseted Cellophane Bags which are Food safe! These bags are great for holding various treats. To create this decorative bag, I’ve cut the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper into a 2 7/8″ x 12″ strip. I then score at the 6 inch mark to delineate the center of the strip. Next, I score 1″ on each side of the center mark. The designer series paper then slips inside the bag, I flatten the bottom and add some adhesive to the seam of the Gusseted Cellophane Bag so it sits flat. Fill up your bag (I used popcorn since that was all I had on hand… Note to self, buy some CHOCOLATE treats!).
The Tag topper is created using the largest Lots of Labels Framelits which fits these bags perfectly! I again determine the center of the Lots of Label, score on each side about 1/4″ then create a fold to go over the top of the Gusseted Bag. I do use the Stampin’ Stapler but that will be retiring due to manufacturing being able to make them. The leaf is from the Flourish Thinlits. I added Thick Whisper White Baker’s Twine with Night of Navy Baker’s Twine and tied a bow. The sentiment is stamped on a strip of Whisper White with Night of Navy Ink then a second Night of Navy Banner was added behind.
