It's Sunday and you know what that means… I'm over at the Can You Case It Challenge Blog for the Weekly Challenge! Come on over and check out this weeks challenge as well as the Design Team submissions. The challenge starts today and ends on Friday, November 27, 2015 @ Noon PST.
Can You Case It
Color Challenge CYCI#96
How are you doing with your Christmas Cards? I can't believe Thanksgiving Week has arrived. This is going to be a crazy week. Caleb is already asking for "Thanksgiving" and can't wait to see Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Lori, Uncle Randy and his cousins! And, on the same note, I still need to finish MY Christmas Cards. I have a good start but still need more cards.
I love this weeks card featuring the Holly Jolly Greetings Stamp Set and Snowflake Elements. This card only lends itself to 8 cards since the Snowflake Elements only have 8 of each design although it would be easy to substitute stars for the snowflakes.
The card base is Thick Whisper White. I used the 2014-2016 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack with the Lost Lagoon layered with Whisper White. On the Whisper White I splattered Lost Lagoon Classic Ink on the card front, stamped the Peace on Earth from the Holly Jolly Greetings. I then attached the Snowflake Elements. The finishing touch was the addition of Rhinestone Jewels.
The sketch over at Can You Case It? is great for quick cards.
