Welcome to Day 8 of the 2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop. As you visit each blog in this blog hop, you'll see various projects from a handful of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators representing only a small portion of individuals that submitted and entered 10 different projects to Stampin' Up! for the Artisan Design Team contest. Although we were not selected as one of the Top 20 Finalists, we are all winners in that we took the time and effort to send in our projects knowing that it is some of our best work!
As an Artisan Design Team hopeful, each blog hop participant submitted 10 projects to Stampin' Up! for the Artisan Design Team contest consisting of the following:
- 5 – Handmade Cards
- 3 – Scrapbook Pages
- 2 – 3D Projects
2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop – Day 8
Nom, Nom, Nom! 12×12 Scrapbook Page
OK… this might be absolute FAVORITE scrapbook page ever! This is actually a hybrid digital scrapbook page which means that I created the page using My Digital Studio then added some embellishments afterwards for added texture. Yesterday, I hinted that this page was for the cat lover… Well, it does feature the family cat, MaCree, but it also features my son, Caleb! Caleb just LOVES MaCree and is always trying to hug her and give her kisses. As it would so happen, on this day MaCree actually patiently let Caleb give her kisses and hugs without running off. Now, Caleb actually wasn't trying to eat MaCree's ear but when I snapped the photo her ear was in his mouth as he was kissing her. You would have thought that the cat would run away but she continued to sit there and let Caleb "maul" her.
The added elements that make this scrapbook page a Hybrid page is that I added the 3/8" Basics Glimmer Brads to the page where you see the digital brads. Unfortunately, I don't have an actual picture of the Hybrid version you still see the overall effect of this fun, digital scrapbook page.
I invite you to pin any of my creations to Pinterest and to share your thoughts or questions by leaving me a comment. I love hearing from all my readers – word of mouth is one of the greatest forms of flattery.
Again, thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my project for Day 8 and don't forget to come back for the next 2 days to see each project entry created for the Stampin' Up! 2013 Artisan Design Team contest. Don't miss tomorrow as I showcase my last card featuring a 3-tiered Easel Card with a theme very close to my heart. To view the projects created by Tina Munzke's click on the "next" button or if you wish to view Anna Black's projects click on the "back" button. If for some reason the link is broken, a list of ALL the participants is at the end of my blog post.
