For Peep's Sake Easter Card

Spring and the arrival of Easter is one of my favorite times of the year!  I love opening the windows and getting rid of the stale air in the house.  This card for the SUO Challenge features the Stampin' Up! For Peep's Sake Stamp Set and just speaks of springtime.  The little chicks are so adorable and sure to brighten your Easter Celebrations.  I love how the Hexagon Hive Thinlit adds texture to the card and makes me think of the arrival of Bees as the flowers start to bloom.

Sunny Girl Scraps Tips, Tricks & Highlights:

• Coloring on rubber stamps using the Stampin' Write Markers is a great way to add multiple colors to a stamped image!  Just color, huff & stamp.
• Banners are awesome…  I love adding a little extra detail to the banners by using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border and attaching it to the back of the banner so only a little scallop peeks out from behind the banner.
• Wrap some Thick Baker's Twine around the banner for the finishing touch.

This card is fun, fresh and so sweet with the Chicks.  I could really see giving it to a younger niece or daughter.  The card really is fairly simple, quick and easy to recreate.
