Apple of My Eye

Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch #180

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge Design Team Submission by Pam Staples featuring Apple of My Eye #appleofmyeye #stampinup #pamstaples #papercraftcrewI have a fun, bright fruity card for you today featuring the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set.  This is a set that I receive from the Stampin’ Up! OnStage local event that I attended in Baltimore back in November 2015.  I’ve been meaning to use the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set for a while and the sketch for this weeks Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch was the perfect fit.  This is a fun set.

The card I created for the Paper Craft Crew is a clean design based off the sketch.  I am using a 5×5 card base.  On the card front, I used a piece of the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack.  The top layer is whisper white layered on Crushed Curry card stock stamped with the leaves from the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set using the Cucumber Crush Classic Ink.  Small details are important to bringing a card together.  I used the Lots of Label Framelit to create a small detailed tag that sticks out featuring Bermuda Bay Classic Ink and attached a Bright Designer Button tied with Crushed Curry Baker’s Twine.  Next, I added a small strip of Cherry On Top Designer Washi Tape at the top of the card front layer.  Finally, I added the “lemon” that I stamped with Crushed Curry and stamped with the Thank You using Bermuda Bay classic ink.

What do you think?  Fun, Bright and cheerful?  Truly a great way to say Thank You!
