Paper Craft Crew Challenge
Starburst Sayings Baby Card
Card Sketch #140
This is a fun sketch that we have over at the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketches. I decided that the Starburst Sayings Stamp Set was perfect but I really wanted a baby card so I transformed my card into the Starburst Sayings Baby Card. I love the little clouds from the Sweet Dreams Designer Series Paper and knew it was perfect as the backdrop for this card. Of course, having a baby is often a very happy occasion so I decided to use the "Oh Happy Day" stamp from the Starburst Sayings Stamp set but conveniently hid the "Day" using the So Saffron banner based of this weeks Card Sketch. The Celebrate was also perfect to use from the Starburst Sayings Stamp Set. Finally, the Banner Banter Stamp set was perfect for the banners and the "Cute Baby" banner sets the tone for the Baby Card but I hid the "Cute" because I didn't want it part of the card. Oh… But wait! There is more. I decided to add the Candy Dots to complete the card.
Originally, I thought I would create a monochromatic card but it just wasn't working so finally I settled on a combination of Lost Lagoon, So Saffron and Smoky Slate which I thought was a nice color palette for a Boy Baby Card.
