Bravo!  Congratulations! It is time for another challenge from Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges. The next theme is Congratulations.  We invite you to come play along as this challenge starts today and ends on May, 6 at 6am ET.

Bravo and Congratulations!

While I continue my journey to share retiring products, I’ve pulled out the Bravo Stamp Set.  This has been a fun stamp set to use and while I’m sad to say farewell, I know there will be new stamp sets that I’ll fall in love with just as much as the Bravo Stamp Set.  Everyone has periods in their life when they need to say Bravo and Congratulations…  The Bravo Stamp Set is perfect for such sentiment.  While the main theme of this stamp set is to say Congratulations it is also versatile in other ways.

Bravo Graduation Card

I choose to use the Hip-Hip Hooray stamp from the Bravo Stamp Set which doesn’t scream “congratulations” but it works.  Actually, this card could easily be a birthday card, graduation card, general congratulations… you get the idea!  My original thought was to use this as a graduation card for one of our niece’s but I couldn’t figure out what my niece’s school colors were before I needed to complete the card.  I did eventually get a text message from my other niece what the school colors are and lets just say that I’ll be making a duplicate of this card using Blue & Red!

The Whisper White card front is stamped using Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set with Crushed Curry Classic Ink.  Then I stamped the balloon strings using the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set.  Balloons are a great way to celebrate and say “congratulations” so I stamped two balloons with Crushed Curry and Delightful Dijon along with a Tuxedo Black outline.  The Hip-Hip Hooray is stamped with Night of Navy and I used the Triple Banner Punch to create the banner.  I layered the card front onto the Regals Designer Series Paper Stack in Night of Navy.  Balloons were then attached to the card front and finished off with the It’s My Party Enamel Dots.

That’s it!  A quick, congratulations card.  I used more stamp sets that I had planned but I love the way it came together.  Now I just need to make a similar card using Red & Blue colors!
