Adoption Update!

Adoption Home Study Approved

So, in late Spring we started the process towards updating our home study for Adoption #2!  Mike and I had been talking about adopting another baby for a while.  We finally took the needed steps to get started and just before the Stampin' Up! convention, we had heard that we were assigned a Social Worker to do the home study update.  Actually, our social worker is the same social worker that we worked with for Caleb's adoption. 

It was while I was at convention that I received the call from our Social Worker to set up our Home Visit required to update our home study.  The visit was at the end of July.  We knew it would take approximately 2 months for the completed report and approval of our home study.  Well, today we received notice that our Home Study has been approved.

Now I need to work on our Profile Book for the Adoption Agency to have on hand for potential Birth Mother's / Birth Family's to review along with making a $600.00 payment.  Once we have these items done and submitted, we are officially on the waiting list for our 2nd Baby!  So, on that note, I want ALL my readers to consider placing a Stampin' Up! order…  Any size order from $25.00 and up is definitely appreciated and helps us reach our funding goal!  At this time, I need approximately $3,000.00 in sales.  We would love to reach this goal by the end of September / early October.
