Good Bye English Garden Designer Series Paper

I confess… I’m a Designer Series Paper Hoarder and I need a 12×12 step program!  I buy Designer Series Paper but once I have it in my hands I struggle to use it because it is so pretty.  The English Garden Designer Series Paper is a retiring designer series paper that I’ve struggled to use because I didn’t like to cut it up.  If there is one thing I can impart upon you and that is to USE your 12×12 Designer Series Paper… Please don’t hoard it.

Garden in Bloom Card featuring English Garden Designer Series Paper

Design Team submission for SUOC 148 featuring the English Garden Designer Series Paper. Created by Pam Staples. #suoc #sunnygirlscraps #stampinup #gardeninbloomToday’s card for SUOC 148 features two pieces of English Garden Designer Series Paper that I’ve distressed using the edge of my paper snips then layered on Whisper White and Mossy Meadow card stock.  The sentiment is stamped with the Garden in Bloom Stamp Set starting with the background flowers with an outline of Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride Classic Ink.  I used Mossy Meadow classic ink to stamp the actual sentiment over the background stamped images.  The sentiment is cut out using the  Lots of Labels Framelits.

Finishing off the card, I added Gold Metallic Thread behind the Lots of Labels sentiment layer.  I also added Rhinestone Jewels because I had an accident with a little bit of ink…  Yes, accidents happen to demonstrators and usually an accident is an opportunity to embellish.
