Welcome to another card sketch with the Paper Craft Crew! This week I continue my theme with the Easel Card and am featuring one of my favorite stamp sets, Perfect Blend, on this fun easel card. So, come along and play with me with this weeks fun and challenge card sketch featured on the Paper Craft Crew Challenge blog.
Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch #58
Perfect Blend Easel Card
Oh, this is such a fun card as I'm having fun with the Easel Card technique. I started with a base of Early Espresso cardstock and used the Scallop Square Framelit to create the base. On the first layer, I used Island Indigo card stock with a layer of Very Vanilla embossed using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder with a layer of Soho Designer Series Paper on the bottom half of the front panel. Next I created two flags. The first flag features the Island Indigo embossed with the Chevron Embossing Folder and the second flag is also from the Soho Subway Designer Series Paper.
I attached two stamped coffee mugs from the Perfect Blend Stamp Set. The Happy Birthday is from the Blue Ribbon Stamp Set and punched out using the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. The flowers in the bottom right corner were made using Very Vanilla Cardstock and the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch. I used the small Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack for the Island Indigo flowers.
For the Easel Card to stand when opened, I stamped the sentiment from the Perfect Blend stamp set and punched it out using Artisan Label Punch which is also layered with Island Indigo again punched out using the Artisan Label punch.
