Paper Craft Crew
Card Sketch #162
We have a great sketch for you over at the Paper Craft Crew this week. For this weeks sketch, I ended up going a different direction than planned. My original plan involved LOTS of Reindeer but I really do love how this card turned out featuring the Peaceful Pines Stamp Set instead. I love how Stampin' Up! has made it so easy to purchase a bundle such as the Peaceful Pines Stamp Set and the Perfect Pines Framelits… together they make it easy to cut out the stamped image and add pop to your card when paired with dimensionals.
The card front features the Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper layered on Mossy Meadow cardstock. My focal layer features Whisper White stamped with a Soft Sky background using the For All Things Stamp Set. Behind the Whisper White layer is another piece of the Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper attached at an interesting angle. Then I stamped one of the evergreen trees from the Peaceful Pines stamp set and cut it out using the coordinating Perfect Pines Framelits Dies.
With so much green, I decided the card needed a pop of color and the Real Red button from the Home for Christmas Designer Buttons pack seemed to be the perfect fit tied with a piece of Gold Thread. I also added the gold thread behind the sentiment which is from the Happy Scenes Stamp Set.
