Card Sketch 142 – Retired Product
I really had lots of fun creating this weeks card for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch 142 and actually challenged myself to keep it simple without lots of extra layers. It is a fun card! I used the Kinda Eclectic "sun" stamp for a background image then I added some more gorgeous grunge images for the background based on the card sketch.
There is definitely some favorite Retiring Product used on this card including the In Colors, Embellishments and stamp sets. The retiring product I focused on are two stamp sets – #hello and Geometrical. I really loved the "funness" of #hello and the classic triangles of Geometrical. Of course, the matching triangle punch is also retiring which makes me sad because it is such a great punch for masculine type cards. The "@" sign is stamped with my absolute favorite color… Coastal Cabana! I think I love this color so much because I live near the ocean and am also a Scuba Diver. Coastal Cabana makes me think of the Caribbean Islands and diving the beautiful blue depths of the ocean.
Of course, Birthday's DO ROCK so I added a little stamped fun from the #hello stamp set. The triangles come from the Geometrical Stamp Set and are stamped using Crushed Curry Classic Ink, punched out with the Triangle Punch and accented with a clip from the Basic Hodgepodge Clips Embellishments pack.

- Retiring Stamp Sets will remain in production up until May 26th then the stamps will only be available while supplies last!

- To adhere sequins, I used the Tombow Liquid Glue – only a small dot needed!
- Try not to over do certain design elements – I admit… I went a little sequin crazy!
