Card Sketch #130 – Moon Lake
This week I pulled out the Moon Lake Stamp Set. I just love this stamp set and I've just been waiting for the perfect moment to use this stamp set. The card features Hello Honey and Basic Gray as the main color scheme. I used the Sweet Dreams Designer Series Paper because the sun pattern really seemed to work with the stamp set. To color the stamp set, I used the Stampin' Markers and colored the images then huffed on the stamp to moisten the ink before I stamped the image on Whisper White. The background layer is Hello Honey embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.
I accented the card with Smoky Slate 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon separating the Sweet Dreams Designer Series paper along the Hello Honey cardstock. In the bottom right corner, I added the Basic Grey Candy Dots. The sentiment is added as a banner across the right top corner of the stamped image with two little flags and a star punched from Hello Honey Cardstock.
The Moon Lake Stamp Set is great for neutral and masculine themed cards. I really do love how this card came together.
