North Carolina Stampin’ Up! Demos Happy Birthday Wishes
Happy Birthday Wishes are moving around the world because we ALL celebrate birthdays! One of the best ways to say Happy Birthday is to actually send a physical card. I know that I enjoy getting cards in the mail. My birthday was earlier this month and I’m still getting Happy Birthday Wishes in the mail! Words cannot express how meaningful these cards are especially knowing my friends and family took the time to write a note then drop it in the mail so I could have a physical reminder.
So… Let us get going with the Happy Birthday Wishes Celebration!
The first card I’m sharing features the Something To Say Stamp Set along with the Party Wishes Stamp set. The colors are gender neutral great for male or female birthdays. The background also features Timeless Texture Stamp Set. Since this card was used for my Cards-A-Latte at Starbucks, I used the Tip Top Taupe in the background to create what looks like coffee rings and little splashes of Delightful Dijon and Mint Macaroon.
The Sentiment features the Mint Macaroon. With the Party Punch Pack is perfect for punching out the tiny balloons. I used the Decorative Label punch to punch out the sentiment then created a border using the Mint Macaroon Card Stock and pieced it together.
For my second card I used the Works of Art Stamp Set which is perfect for creating clean and simple, quick cards! The background is stamped with Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay. Each flower in all three colors are punched out using the Petite Petals Punch then attached to a contrasting color on the stamped background. The sentiment is from the Remembering Your Birthday Stamp Set and stamped with the Bermuda Bay Classic Ink. I attached the card front to a Bermuda Bay layer. The finishing touch is the addition of the White Perfect Accents – if you haven’t tried these yet you are missing out on a wonderful little embellishment.
Again, thanks for joining the fun and I invite you to visit Lisa Tedder by clicking on her name or the NC Demos Blog Button below! You are going to love her blog and fun technique that she is sharing (FYI… I had the pleasure of learning about the technique when she did a Periscope).
I also invite you to pin my creations to Pinterest and to share your thoughts or questions by leaving me a comment. I love hearing from all my readers – word of mouth is one of the greatest forms of flattery. Don’t forget to follow me on Pinterest!
Sunny Stampin’ & Scrappin’!
Love these dies. The best way to make a card pop…… Thanks for sharing.
Great cards. I love the bright colors on the Work of Art card. They just pop.
Cute cards, Pam! Love the second one with the flowers. It would be good for almost any occasion!
Love both cards! They are really eye-catching and great colors!
Two very different cards. I like the subtle softness of the first one and the big bold colors of the 2nd one. Nicely done.
Pam, I love, love, love your cards! Might just be using them in my next class!! Thanks for your hard work keeping us “hoppers” straight!
I love your cards. I love the subtleness of the first. Simple yet striking. Love the second. I would not have thought to do that. The colors are great. Both are easy to reproduce and lovely.
