When I saw the In The Meadow Stamp Set in the 2016 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog I had to get it as I knew it would be great for Masculine cards. So, now that It’s Sunday we know what that means… I’m over at the Can You Case It? Challenge Blog for the Weekly Challenge! Come on over and check out this weeks Color Challenge as well as the Design Team submissions. The challenge starts today and ends on Friday, April 1, 2016 @ Noon PST.
In The Meadow Masculine Card
Color Challenge CYCI #113 – Masculine Card
I’m a nature lover and grew up camping. Today’s card is a reflection of my love for the outdoors as I feature the deer stamp from the In The Meadow Stamp Set for this weeks Can You Case It? Color Challenge. Even the colors for this Color Challenge have an earthy feel from the Crumb Cake to Night of Navy and Basic Gray.
As I composed this Masculine card, I started with a card base of Basic Gray layered with Crumb Cake that I spritzed and splashed with Night of Navy Classic Ink. The deer are stamped with Crumb Cake on Whisper White. I added a strip of Night of Navy Regal Designer Series Paper Stack as a border on one edge of the Whisper White. The Linen Twine adds a nice masculine, rustic touch finished with a Smoky Slate Neutrals Designer Button. I stamped the sentiment with Night Of Navy Classic Ink and punched the ends with the Banner Punch then attached to the card.
